Should I stay with my mother if she has recurring pneumonia in his lungs? ?

She is 83 and has been smoking since he was 15. My sister said the doctor told me that the artery is blocked in your kidneys and that is why you feel dizzy and weak and it which causes high blood pressure. Is it contagious and severe or improve over time. Nobody really speaks to me and my mother said that although I asked, although it may be forgotten in time. I want to spend time with her, but I would like to know the whole story their health before go.She hospitalized three times over the last two months

Given the age and health did not seem very good. Do you smoke yet? She should stop and seriously if I'm not saying it's a bit late to stop because the damage is done. Is it active at all? I do not think it contagious, because it is in the lungs of the infected person. Not good for the accumulation of fluid in the lungs. I am getting worse each time a person becomes. and the blocked artery in his back did nothing why? Yes, it causes an increase in blood pressure. Can be treated with stenting and angioplasty failure and should help with your blood pressure.

can clogged arteries be reversed

What can be done to reverse the clogging of arteries after a lifetime of eating things that cover?

them? I exercise, but still eat things I should not. I take Zocor for high cholesterol and I have good results of blood tests every 3-6 months.

There are clogs as in a tube can be removed … however. The damage occurred to the walls of blood vessels, and the body tries to repair. The repair mechanism is not working properly, and is slow enough that people do not die from it until long after having children. Reversal is also a slow process and it is difficult to achieve without a perfect lifestyle that includes about 1. Very low voltage, much laughter to maintain blood pressure. 2. No bad chemicals, including alcohol and adrenaline (Indicating the tension!), Which can damage the lining of artery or smoke of any kind. Exciting activities are not your friends. 3. A low fat, low salt diet to maintain excess blood fats and maintain blood pressure. 4. No red meat. Chicken or turkey breast meat, salmon or tuna, egg whites only for the protein. 5. Not unless they milk fat. 6. Regular exercise not too low, not too hard to maintain a strong heart. Too difficult to exercise has too dioxide carbon, essentially a bad chemical that damages artery linings 7. Lots of fruit, vegies and grains and fiber anti-oxidants. With enough dietary antioxidants and do everything above, some people have blocks that are made of cholesterol-filled cells further divide the blood vessels, begin to decline to waive some of the cholesterol back into the bloodstream and is carrer away and excreted or used for energy. But in tests, about 1 / 3 of those trying to stop the growth of the blockage, but did not the reverse. In another third was about 5% a year investment. In the last third, locks continued to deteriorate. 50% of first heart attacks are fatal, and most of these people do not have the classic symptoms of chest pain. They feel a bit strange that a couple of hours, do not think its related to heart, and then drop dead.

It depends. Unfortunately, it looks like a healthy woman. Honestly, it is very unlikely to work at all. Carotid endarterectomy is the gold standard for the cleaning of a carotid artery. Stenting, although sometimes the only option is actually higher rate of stroke. The anatomy of the aortic arch and carotid must be "fair" for the placement stents still be possible. Good luck.

This disease is caused by a condition known as atherosclerosis. Commonly known as hardening of the arteries, atherosclerosis is caused by a buildup of calcium deposits and cholesterol on the inner walls of the arteries. The next, the arteries become less flexible. Most people with blocked carotid arteries have not symptoms. When symptoms occur, the risk of stroke increases significant. The most common symptoms are transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), which sometimes called ministrokes and last from minutes to 24 hours, or temporary blindness in one eye. carotid artery occlusive disease is a permanent condition. The goal of treatment is to avoid further blockage and stroke. In almost all cases, atherosclerosis is the cause of carotid artery disease. You can help prevent atherosclerosis, following these guidelines: Eat foods low in fat and cholesterol. * Lose weight if you are overweight. * The high frequency exercise. * Under pressure blood itself. * Stop smoking. * Try to reduce stress in your life. * Low blood sugar if it is high. * If you have diabetes, consult your doctor regularly and follow all diet and medication instructions.

cardiac catheterization and viruses – update and question?

Hello, I wrote today about how he damaage heart because I have a virus and how I was in a cardiac catheterization. I received several questions about the virus and how it leads to the need for cathaterization, so I thought they had set. I virus caused chronic inflammation (increased sedimentation months peaking at 105 and an average of 85). The inflammation can cause arteries harden and clog more quickly, it seems, and my cardiologist was limited flow in front of my heart on my nuclear stress test. catheterization confirmed today that they have no blocking, but I have a slow flow through the heart. I have not had time to research, but I understand there is a reaction to viral infections and inflammatory diseases. If anyone has any information on this condition, I appreciate it. Thank you. I have no myocarditis.

The Risks of angioplasty include: * Allergic reaction to x-ray dye bleeding into the area where the catheter was inserted * Obstruction of blood flow region of the heart (very rare) * Damage to a heart valve or vessel Blood * Death * Renal failure (higher risk among those existing kidney problems) * irregular heart beat (arrhythmia) * Stroke (rare) The risks for any anesthesia are: breathing problems * * Reactions to medications for all risks of surgery are: * Bleeding * Infection

In recent years, green tea has gained much attention because it has many health benefits. Green tea has been used in Asian cultures for centuries to prevent and treat any disease. This, coupled with the decrease in the incidence of many serious diseases in Asian cultures, has led researchers to seriously consider the benefits of green tea.

One area where green tea may have real benefits for health prevention and treatment of heart disease. For example, the Japanese have one of the lowest incidence of heart disease worldwide, and Japanese are among the most faithful drinkers of green tea, often consumed 8.10 cups per day. This information is even more convincing if one considers that nearly 75% of Japanese men smoke.

Green tea has been shown to be effective in reducing cholesterol LDL. It also inhibits the formation of abnormal blood clots. Blood clots, or thrombosis, are the main cause of heart attacks and strokes. It is possible that physicians begin to prescribe Green Tea, more exercise, dietary changes and drugs to lower cholesterol.

Besides their ability to reduce cholesterol and inhibit blood clots, it also appears that the polyphenols in tea prevent the oxidation of low density lipoprotein (LDL). Such is the substance that causes arterial plaque. This plaque sticks to your arteries, restricting the flow cardiac blood (atherosclerosis). The plate can also cause blood clots. Drinking green tea appears to prevent accumulation and reduce the risk of developing blood clots as well.

There were a number of studies have supported the idea that green tea is good for heart. A study by the Centre for Medicine Kyushu University in Japan showed that among 302 men and 210 women, there was a difference significant levels of atherosclerosis between the male participants who drank green tea and those who did not .*

The difference was not significant in women. The difference was significant among participants who drank only 2-3 cups per day, but was even more marked among those who drank more than four cups a day. This study concluded that green tea may be effective in the prevention of atherosclerosis in at least men.

In addition to its preventive properties there is also evidence that green tea can help patients who already have heart disease. A study conducted by Harvard Medical School showed that tea drinkers among heart attack patients survive longer than those who drink something else.

In this study, participants who drank at least 14 cups of tea per week were 44 percent less likely to die than those who did not drink tea drinkers region (those consuming less than 14 drinks per week) were 28 percent less likely to die within than four years after they did not drink tea.

Even the Journal of the American Heart Association has come on board. In 2001, it was reported that consumption of green tea may be beneficial for patients with heart disease. And, the Journal of Nutrition in 2003 reported that green tea is known to protect against heart disease and reduce cholesterol.

Of course, the investigation will continue and we will learn more about the benefits of green tea for heart disease and other health problems. One thing seems certain: tea Green health benefits, mainly because of its anti-oxidants.

Antioxidants are one of the best defense mechanisms of our body because they fight free radicals that are created during the process of converting the food we eat into energy. Radical Left unchecked, without damaging our cells and DNA. damage cells and DNA caused by free radicals make us age more quickly, weaken our system immunity and make us more sensitive to a variety of serious diseases, including cancer.

However, antioxidants fight free radicals, ridding our bodies themselves.
Fruits and vegetables, and green tea are good sources of antioxidants, and we can help fight against free radicals regularly If we're part of our daily lives.

It is important to ensure that if you drink tea for health is green tea rather than tea traditional black. While black tea is a healthy drink, is not as healthy as green tea. That's because black tea goes through a process fermentation that changes of antioxidants from its original state. When this happens, some of the health benefits are lost.

So, baby. Although more research to do what we do seem certain that drinking green tea is good for you. With only a few cups of this delicious drink everyday you can extend your life and what is healthy, too!

While Other carotid (neck) artery is opened, the 90% did not cause fainting. If otherwise in reasonable health, you should have either a carotid endarterectomy or a carotid stent performed by a vascular surgeon good. cholesterol-lowering drugs and aspirin / Plavix clear the blockage not only stabilize things. In the hospital last week with the TIA. Anger because of nothing. RM ok.Could clogged arteries cause this?

I wonder if my arteries are so clogged plate that the lack of oxygen starves my brain and causing episodes of excessive anger. I understand that stress, anger lead to stroke / aunts / attacks the heart, but I do not understand why it is that after my aunts I'm not as sane as me. Lose control so quickly, feeling shaky / real anger by saying things I never would have said things before … horrible. More reaction / exaggeration / hell. I understand it may need some advice, but I'm worried by the sudden appearance of this behavior. I can be quiet and then a minute I'm screaming insults / orders. I'm just not … and my family says it is only from the 'hit'. ? indeed, the first night doing this so I do not know how to respond to messages or if allowed so please be patient me! Thanks.

No, but anger can precipitate a transient ischemic attack. random or unprovoked anger and irritability after a stroke may be the effects of brain damage associated with stroke. Despite the uncontrolled anger and aggression are often associated with movements, researchers now say that outbreaks can be caused by brain damage itself. arteries. locked or not, will not make the outbursts of anger. Pain on both sides of the neck and more often to the right [71-year-old mother]?

My mom wakes up to the neck every day too rigid. We have been in sooo many doctors, I have turned to research on my own. She is the hardening of the arteries had a heart attack already. Also Ago.She 6 years now has two stents in place. She has been going to physical therapy for frozen shoulder / neck. Her rigid new physical therapist asked, no one had tried to figure out why your artery is so stiff.Which Carod made me start investigating mysefl. She has had two episodes a month ago, where she could not speak for 40-45 minutes .. Doing this reseach I think I found the answer .. I just want someone who is or has been in the field of medicine to help me out. I just read on Doppler, I think that is what called. How How I can get your heart doc to do this in it? She's tired of doctors and is soo hard to get There will be a test anymore. If defenite to help her, I would go … Any information is greatly appreciated!

How do you know the carotid artery is "hard?" Unless an ear bruits over the carotid artery, she must have had some kind of carotid Doppler have that determination. If they did hear murmurs, it is certainly likely that she had done already. I asked. It is certainly possible that your mother may have had a small stroke (AIT) in the past … not much we can do about it now, and it is very likely to be not due to carotid artery itself (causing a massive stroke.) No However, it is possible that the plaque in the carotid artery could have had a little bit of rest (an embolism) and cause a mild stroke earlier somehere in the brain in the past. He was hospitalized with it? It is very possible that she has had these tests already. Your neck pain is a problem nothing to do with the blood issue. However, I would make sure the therapist is taking all necessary precautions during treatment. It might be limited as to what the therapist can do by the arterial problem. However, the last thing you need your mom is a blood discetion. (That is, do not think the therapist must make manipulation of the cervix). If your doctor or cardiologist unaware of the episodes of aphasia (inability to speak), they really need to know about it. A carotid Doppler only be half of what she needs, it is possible that an MRA can certianly be weekend too. It is possible that a little preventive medicine now can prevent one disabling stroke brain in the future.

Hardening Of Arteries Reversal

Dissolve Those Dangerous Arterial
Plaque Before It”s Too Late!

hardening of arteries reversal

hardening of the arteries leading to understanding the symptoms of the condition to be treated before it worsens. Hardening arteries or atherosclerosis is easier to handle, while still at the initial stage so that action at the first sign the disease can not only avoid the advance, which may eventually lead to his dismissal.

During a period of time, in the lining of the arteries are damaged by smoking, high blood pressure and cholesterol levels and sugar, among others. When this happens, substances that are transported by blood, such as fat, cholesterol and calcium are difficult to penetrate arterial walls. As such, these substances meet the walls of arteries, forming plaques that hardens and narrows arteries, and thus to develop a condition called atherosclerosis.

With atherosclerosis, or carotid arteries, coronary arteries or peripheral arteries are affected, and the hardening arteries of the symptoms depend on the arteries are involved.

The carotid arteries are the blood rich in oxygen brain. If these arteries harden and may have reduced the signs and symptoms usually appear when you suffer a stroke, and these include numbness or weakness in the face or one side of your body, slurred speech, difficulty understanding, problems vision, dizziness and imbalance.

peripheral arteries, in turn, are responsible for the blood supply to his limbs, especially legs and arms, and pelvis. If the accident occurs in peripheral arteries, there may be pain and stiffness, aggravated by the walking or engaging in activities where you have to use his legs.

If the narrowed coronary arteries, the blood that carries oxygen the reduction of heart, so the person may experience chest pain that may radiate to the arms, shoulders, neck, back or jaw. Usually, the Pain becomes worse when you make a form of activity. It may also be difficulty breathing and arrhythmia.

It is quite Regrettably, there are cases that atherosclerosis has classic signs and symptoms at all until there is complete blockage of the artery and the person has entered a heart attack. Therefore prevention of a heart attack will have the wisdom of his party. If you think you are at risk of atherosclerosis, as perhaps you are a smoker, obese or diabetic, a sample of blood on a regular basis to monitor their cholesterol in the blood. Than normal LDL (bad cholesterol) suggest that the plate may be developed in the walls of arteries, In this case, you may have to undergo a thorough evaluation to ensure that the accumulation of plaque is not yet in the dangerous level. Otherwise, it may take more than changes in diet and lifestyle to atherosclerosis.

You can prevent atherosclerosis, keep it from progressing, and even hope for its reversal, and the chances of recovery are greater when you are able to determine the hardening of the arteries symptoms.
